Is this game any fun? Probally the least seen game at the shop. (besides Mordhiem of course.)

Ryka next time you are going to be at the shop, give me a call. What we can do is take move trays and write down what the unit is and how many stands, and we can actually try out a game.
It will be good times.
The rules look really solid

Sounds pretty cool Ben...nothing like playing game wen you don't have the models for it. Like I remember saying this, "Just pretend those Black Orcs are 40K Bloodletters." Sounds great though Ben and tell you next time I'll be down. Maybe this Saturday?

Yeah they do. Its epic scale, you still have a lot of the rules for LOS in fantasy but magic is less powerful (in scale I mean) and characters are WAY more important. Characters aren't as good for fighting but they are important for commanding your troops.
The key difference between Warmaster and Fantasy is that you have to pass a leadership test to move a unit, when you fail, you are done moving units. There are a lot of modifiers for leadership, and you always go off of your gernerals leadership.
If you come by this weekend, I will want to do the Confrontation demo, but afterwords we can walk ourselves through a game.

Well, I downloaded the Warmaster Living Rule Book of the site. Or at least I downloaded the important parts. You're right, Ben, the rules are pretty solid. It seems to be cool since it is more like a real battle unlike Warhammer. I mean Warhammer is awesome but I can't help but think, "How can 100 guys be a whole army?" I also like that fact that orders can be messed up or misinterpretid. It seems like a cool game.

I could come down this coming Sunday but I'd only be able to stay 'till 5. So tell me if you can make it in time for a game.

I really see the games we play as skirmishes along the front lines, or just patrol clashes. It makes sense to me.

Ya...too bad Ben lost his rulebook so we didn't get to play on Sunday. But we did get in an awesome Fantasy game!
