Hey gang, I am looking for anyone who is interested in doing a small Mordheim campaign. It wouldn't be much just a loose association.
Mordheim is a great game, infact you may already have the models for it. You need about 5-10 figures to play for one of the races. There are many, from undead to lizardmen, to elves, to Brettonians to pit fighters. All the rules can be found on Mordheim.com. We are looking at a game with no or little startup cost to a vet. Warhammer fantasy player. Post a reply if you are in.

I would be in as long as it's going on during the weekend. Since I can only go down then, since I live in Paradise.

You would be able to get in a game anytime you wanted. Just have a rival gang to play.
Sweet we need like two more people then.

Actually Greg you probally wouldn't need to buy very many models. You could probally pass off some of your High Elf Archers as a Shadow Warrior Warband.
I wont need to buy models since I got all my Orcs...Mahahahahahahhaa...err..I mean.. WWWWWWWWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Okay, I'm done.

I dunno. Ben printed out all the rules he would know more. I think the only chaos band is either Carnival of Chaos or Possessed Warband. The Carnival is funny!

Wow you know it is bad when people start relying on me for info....
Andy to answer your question...yes you can, they are the "Dwarf Treasure Hunters" also Greg, Carnival of Chaos is a more Chaosy army, where as the possessed are more of a cultist army. Either way, I think you would be looking at mauraders, Carnivale may have a few Warriors if they do.

Very cool. We have Andy, Ben, Greg(possibly) and me. All we need is one or two more people and we have enough people.

Since most of us don't know the complete rules to Mordheim (I know Fantasy Skirmish) we should have a day where we all come down and have test games to see how the game works and all. (Not even Ben is real familiar with the game). So then we can work out bugs and to get a good idea on how to construct our warbands. As I glanced through the rulebook there was some minor changes from Fantasy Skirmish besides one thing weapons. Each type of weapon does a totally different thing. This game looks cool especially if it is a community thing. I've printed out the Orc Rules and they are boss.
My Orcses shall raid the 'umie city of Mordheim and takes all them shiny stuffs from them elveses and 'umies. Ands maybes we get to bash some 'eads while were at it! WWWWAAAAAAGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!

Ryka, am I ever 100% clear on the rules?
Anyways, yeah the weapons are different, some items let you parry, which in a sense gives you an armour save equal to the number rolled to hit.
Heavy armour slows you down, and their are lots of special items. What day is good for everybody to get together?
