The point costs are okay but the army doesn't have a lot of variety compared with their Craftworld brethren.

It's not so much the points costs, it's that the eldar get something better for cheaper and that's just dumb.

The Eldar wear spandex! They're fruity! No wonder they're "the dying" *insert sarcastic hill billy laugh here*

Spandex?!?!? Andy I know you're trying to find similarities with yourself and the Eldar but the Eldar don't wear spandex.

To get back to pts cost, I don't think a 1500 pts Eldar army can stuff in over 50 BL. But when I played DE I had a 1500 pts army with over 50 DLs. Expensive?? No. Hard to play?? Yes unless you have that very important part of the human body known as a brain....
PS. If the shirts come in puke green... I'll take one. I can wear it to the bars, and it'll still be green the next day....

Dark Lances...not nice...neither are their Brighter cousins....ooo....the pain.....squads...tanks... all....destroyed...uuuuhhhh....pain.....ok....
Ya if a DE army is packing lots of DLs and Splinters then they are pretty hard to defeat.

eh, i dont know, i really think it depends on the army and the player. Like, when i played stan with my gaurd. The dark lances werent really a problem, nor were the SCs. My big problem were the wytches, they were a force to be reckoned with. but, keep in mind, i have gaurd.

No, you have Greg's guard. I have never seen such a troop intensive gaurd army.
And it has got to be the coolest I have played againist.

The lances of the Eldars can be a problem for my Khorne army. Since I don't have very many guys its basically a free 20pt kill every time it shoots...its like you against that Tau cannon that uses the blast template and doesnt scatter.

i guess its just different strokes for different folks'. i hate wytches, you hate Sc's tomato tomato (um, that was supposed to be pronounced differently, the first putting the emphasis on the A as if it were sounding its name while the second places the emphasis on the a as if it was the a in the word "craw", in case you didnt get it ;D)
