I was thinking of buying some Lord of the Rings stuff and was wondering if more people play the good side or evil? Cause I will buy which ever one is played less, I was thinking of starting a Harad army does anyone play them?

Unfortunatly this game isn't played much at all. LotR is a great game. and I think if you played a few pick up games at the right moments it would really pick up (as Flames of War, Battle Fleet Gothic, and other specialist games usually do). I don't know which armies are most played, because I am pretty sure its very balanced. But I can tell you that most active people that play the game (which aren't very active as they have no one to play against) are good.
If you would like to get into this game, I know several people who would happily run a demo for you.

im willing to bet that evil is played more. I was actually just thinking earlier about how desperate i am for this game to pick up again. It is alot of fun. i made a poor investment and now i have $300 worth of models that have et to see a game.

That happens with a lot of games out there. It's why I have a hard time trying to get people to try new games (and there are a lot of really great games out there besides GW). Just bring your models down to the shop, and ask everyone there to play with you. Even if they don't have an army of thier own the shop has a few, they could give a try. THe only one stopping you from playing a game you like is yourself.

I know they got screwed! but the models look cool and LOTR is not very expensive which is the cool thing about the game.
