It is based off the book and the minis are modeled after the cg animated TV series "Roughneck, Starship Trooper Chronicles". The minis look awesome, especially the arachnids. If another person is interested, lets get a copy of the starter set and get going.

I just got done looking at the rules online. It looks pretty solid. You roll to hit and wound in the save shot, and killed outright is much more fluid.
There are very few special rules, which is kinda nice. Andy Chambers wrote the game! Check out all the reference sheets and stuff!

Who here has read Starship Troopers? "Without the MI there wouldn't be any Navy" "Well without the Navy ther wouldn't be any MI" There is some great stoof in that book. The MI fire little mini nukes!

I don't like the skinny models either, I probably won't play those. I have read the book, but that was about 4 years ago. If I have time, I will re read it this year. Are the models in at the shop yet? I remember Scott mentioning he ordered some.
