Also, as a sidenote, if we do happen to change the scale for this upencoming Inquisitor campaign, should we change the measurements? i dont think so, but as it is about half the scale, maybe it would make sense. But somehow, it seems to me a character running three inches, 40k scale or not, is a little silly.

I think the measurements should stay the same. Also on 40K scale we could make use of the shop's boundiful 40K terrain.

I don't see what the big deal is about getting a model for this. I mean, sure it's a lot better to do so but it's only one model. It's not like 40k where you have a whole army. if you played 40k with rocks & sitcks like you used to with Inuqisitor, greg, that wouldn't work out as well. But with Inquisitor, I think it can be done with just about anything fairly easily. But of course this is just me.

I like 40K more because of the variaty of models. Like if we do 40K scale I wanna use the Necromunda Reedemer Model for an Imperial Cultist.

well sam, sure you could play inquisitor wiht rocks, and sticks. but thats dumb! ;D lol thats why we have this magnificent shop and why we even have models at all. We have models to empasize the feeling of the story and because it just looks good. Besides, i was planning on building some custom terrain for the campaign, and if im gonna do that, you should at least be able to use a model. i actually think that for this campain we'll do it 40k scale, and everyone has to have a fairly wysiwyg model (i mean, if you forgot to glue the grenades onto his belt thats ok sorta thing) and it should definately be painted and based. Also if you guys do a good jorb with your models and backgrounds for your characters, we could have ongoing warbands and campaigns that inter mingled.
Do you guys think its to much to ask to have 40k scale, plastic, or otherwise, semi-wysiwyg painted models for this campaign?

The thing about the scale is, its so much more easy to tell cover on the larger models. I would rather use large models, remember I am a guy who hates painting/modeling/spending money. So I infact think its so much a better idea to use big models, that I would paint/model/buy a character and paint him/her/it up to use it in this game. I just think its so much easier/cool looking/i just wanted another slash to use the big models. Then Scott can take pictures and post them on the web/shop and things will be coo/awesome/tight (as the kids are saying these days). So that is my thought/two cents/other metaphor for what I think.

Ben has a point, cover wise, its easier. BUT as for prices wise, Ben you could just use one of your eldar rangers from 40k! the pictures would look kool if the models were big though, but i think that if we put the effort into the smaller models, the pictures would also look kool.

I see Ben's point (and I don't mean his Dark Elves' pointy helmets). Yet I'm totally for 40K scale. And I have stated my reasons too many times so...blah.

hmm, this is a bit of a pickle. But i am going to stick with pro 40k scale. You guys will just have to trust that ill not give you the shaft when it comes to cover. And i think the pics will be fine if we do nice models. Maybe we'll do a demo 40k scale game at the shop tomarrow

Oh! i had another idea, what if we did 40k skale except useing the same large bases?

I dunno...the bases will make it hard to judge where you are next to terrain and the small bases wont make much difference to the game.

good point. Ok, lets settle this i think we have come to a descision.
The newinquisitor campaign will be run at 40k scale, all models will have to be painted and based and mostly wysiwyg also we are useing the small round bases. LOCK VOTING!
