Hey, I have decided to do an Eldar army for 40k. Also I have decided to do an Ulthwe force. Here is my question: Should I do the regular Ulthwe Army (as in the craftworld codex) or the Ulthwe Strike Force (as in the Eye of Terror codex)? Also what are the differences between the armies? And any other help such as stratagies (good or strange) would be a great addition.

You can actually do both. But, if I wanted to paint enough Guardians to do the Ulthwe list, I would go with the Strike Force. It would shake people up and make for a really fun game. Remeber, they suffer from a weird moral....thingy.

After doing a little research on the web...the Strike Force does look pretty cool with the webway portal and all. Also the painting probally wouldn't be a problem because even though there are a lot of guardians in an Ulthwe army the colors are pretty basic for the most part.

Remeber, they suffer from a weird moral....thingy. I am only partially familiar with the USF (Ulthwe Strike Force) rules like the +1 BS for Guardian Defenders, Super Psyker Squad (Seer Council), webway portal, etc. What is the weird moral thing rule?

Looking back what I was referring too was the fact that they retreat to the nearest open webway. Which isn't that weird.

Yep. They are a dying craftworld, they need to protect their troops so when things start going sour they want out of the situation quickly.

Thanks for all the help Ben. Are there any Ulthwe tactics or cheapo Eldar tricks that I should know about to make people really frustrated and start cursing the darkness?

Lol, well starcannons seem to be the devil in this combat patrol tournament. I mean 3 strength 3 AP 2 hits with the uber cool black guardian BS4 is kinda nice. So I would definatly recommend some of those. Then there is always the lovely lovely wraithlord. If you do get a Falcon (not sure if you can take one) and definatly if you get a squad of 3 vypers (the more the better seiously) you need to geek them out with a spirit stone, holofield, at least then don't be afraid to take scythes which work surprisingly well against mob armies.
Your seers, geek them out with the magic stuff. Especially if you can get a group, Mind War takes out biggy 2+ guys with huge toughness because its a leadership test.
With your aspect warriors, Scorpions with a Farseer is a must, they aren't worth the points without a farseer with fortune backing them. I have never used Dark Reapers but I can imagine its the same thing but with the one that ups their BS.
Welcome to the Brotherhood that is Eldar.
